Welcome Artist Fellowship, Technical Assistance and Invitational Applicants!
Welcome to the North Carolina Arts Council’s NEW on-line grant application system, ARTS Grants Online.
Creating a Profile
All ARTS Grants Online (AGO) users will create a Profile when they enter the system for the first time. Be prepared to generate your own user name and password that will allow you future access to the system. Scroll to the bottom of this page to find the Create a New Profile link. Note to Artists: It is important that your Legal Name match the information you provide for Primary Contact Name in the Profile.
Starting an Application
Once your Profile is complete, go to Current Programs and Applications to start your grant application. Be sure to read the Arts Council’s General Funding Policies and the Guidelines for your specific category before filling out your AGO application form.
Note: It is advisable that you craft your narrative text responses for grant application questions in a word processor before entering the information into the ARTS Grants Online system. If you choose to work directly in the application, please remember to SAVE regularly to avoid losing your data.
Submitting an Application
Applicants will submit the form electronically through AGO and must also submit a print version of the form along with the required support materials by 5 p.m. on the deadline day. If you have questions about this process or need help with your application, please call (919) 807-6515.
